Agel Cycling Team

September 10th, 2008 by jackiep | No Comments | Filed in Agel, Business, Outdoor Recreation

I’m jazzed that Agel sponsors a cycling team: American RADD - Racers Against Drugs and Doping.   Per the news release, ”All of Agel’s nutritional gel supplements went through rigorous testing from the HFL, the world’s largest drug surveillance and research laboratory that tests products for the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The HFL accredited all of Agel’s gel products.”

Clarification on MLM Mastermind

September 10th, 2008 by jackiep | 2 Comments | Filed in Agel, Business, Internet

Re: MLM Mastermind post below:   The leads for sale are not visitors to this site.   I don’t sell or share any contact info I may get from this site.   That’s my privacy policy.  If you click through to another site from here, that site’s privacy policy applies, and if the link is an ad, Commission Junction’s policy may apply.  MLM Mastermind is a separate company that has its own means of finding people who are interested in home businesses and have indicated that they *want* someone to call them on the topic.

If you tell me that you’re interested in a home business, I won’t sell your information, but I will call you myself and offer to share what I’ve learned in 3 years working from home.

My New Supplements with Agel Cal

September 9th, 2008 by jackiep | 2 Comments | Filed in Agel, Business

Before Agel, I went on my own wellness campaign. I found a blueprint for what to do in (the first edition of) You: The Owner’s Manual.  That introduced a huge pill-based supplement regimen into my life.  Then a friend showed me Agel and its innovative gel-suspension technology for nutritional supplements.   Agel EXO and MIN covered most my needs, but I still had big heartburn-provoking calcium pills each evening.  Ugh!  Now with Agel CAL, I actually look forward to a yummy calcium supplement in chocolate gel after dinner.

September 7th, 2008 by jackiep | 3 Comments | Filed in Agel, Business

Agel World 2008 was an amazing show!    The best parts for me were the CAL product announcement, meeting so many positive energetic people, the CEO speech, and of course all the training.      You can contact me directly at jackiep (at) iamagel.com for more information about Agel.

Our second activity yesterday, was a tour of the Agel facilities.   We boarded the last of several busses departing the Salt Palace and headed south to Provo.    Provo is known as the home of Brigham Young Univerisity.   Probably far fewer people know…

The “Tells” of a Troubled Giant

August 28th, 2008 by jackiep | No Comments | Filed in Business, Trading and Investing

John Mauldin, who I read often, ran a perfectly ghastly :-) article in his Outside the Box yesterday: click here to read it.    I highlight it here for two reasons:

1. The diagram in the middle is an interesting depiction of the ”tells” or warning signs of companies that fail in a big way which may be useful for shorting or just getting out of the way of the next debacle.

2. At the bottom is a reasoned list of “dead man walking” financials which are poised to inconvenience depositors, bite bondholders, and wipe out shareholders.

What’s With All The Ads

August 27th, 2008 by jackiep | 2 Comments | Filed in Business, Internet

You may have noticed - and I hope you did - that these blog pages carry advertising.   I’m fascinated with affiliate marketing programs and decided to experiment with a few select companies I know and use myself.

To date, in each post where I’ve put a link to an advertiser, I have included a disclosure that says I’ll get commission on the sale.  Now that I think about it, it’s not such big a deal that they need to get called out in every post.  So I’m going to discontinue that, explain here how it works, and let this post be my blanket disclosure.
