Agel World 2008
September 7th, 2008 by jackiep | Filed under Agel, BusinessAgel World 2008 was an amazing show! The best parts for me were the CAL product announcement, meeting so many positive energetic people, the CEO speech, and of course all the training. You can contact me directly at jackiep (at) iamagel.com for more information about Agel.
The new product CAL, is a calcium gel supplement that comes in a new tasty chocolate orange flavor. Just what I wanted! As soon as the product was announced I, and several hundred others, purchased 3 boxes from the Agel on-site store. I really like the taste and especially like that I didn’t get heartburn afterwards. Today was even better after chilling a CAL in my Residence Inn freezer. Best of all, CAL is a supplement where Agel’s gel suspension technology can add a lot of value — a panel of three doctors at the conference talked about how CAL’s formulation really aids absorption. A new product I need, like, and can see a big market. Yipee!
The second highlight was meeting many wonderful people — some I knew already and some recent introductions. Among the latter category is industry icon Eric Worre. After inviting 100’s of my closest friends to watch his video, it was nice to finally meet the man in person. He seemed very down to earth and gave an excellent training session.
I am amazed at how much Agel has grown just since I was in Utah for a meeting with the CEO in May. Since then they have added more country managers (more countries!) and a lot more customer service people. Great to feel that start-up energy! Timing is huge in this business and I’m glad I’m in early with so much growth ahead.
When I had visited Utah in May and participated in a small group of new distributors meeting with the CEO, Glen Jensen, I was very impressed with his entrepreneural spirit, his values, and his integrity. Again at this event, Glen Jensen talked about the things that are important to him. He cited his “why agel” reasons as:
- Agel Cares Foundation - helping disadvantaged people around the world
- FIT Challenge - helping people get healthy
- Encouraging personal development
- Family aspect of the business — getting families together in the business
- Great products
- Helping people achieve their dreams through Agel
- Building strong teams
- Financially improving lives
- Acceptance of *all* people, worldwide
- Showing people their potential
All this and pagentry representing all Agel countries worldwide made for a nice show for a fine young company.

[...] World 2008, CEO Glen Jensen discussed his top 10 reasons for doing Agel (see notes). Since I am the CEO of my own Agel distributorship (under Own Mountain Trading Company), I [...]
Agel had to borrow 5 million from a investor Ash Capital to survive, they also let go their CFO and general council (attorney) and IT manager. This is the sign that the company is moving downwards. Think twice before investing with this company.
Hi Kevin-
Thanks for your comments.
I am very engrossed with my own business, BackTestingReport.com, and haven’t kept up with the latest regarding Agel. However, I’m not surprised to hear about Agel taking a loan in these tough economic times. During the credit crunch its been very difficult for businesses to get funding. In that light, Agel is doing well to attract a 5 million investment.
Personally, I love the products and use at least one every day.
